Registration now open! “Healing Hearts: A Supportive Journey for Dads” is a 10-week psychodynamic group program that helps men who have used violence in their relationships examine trauma and how it affects their children and families. Participants will learn about trauma, the life-long impact trauma has on individuals exposed to it, and will develop strategies to support their children in healing using a variety of trauma-informed parenting techniques.

  • Identifying the Impacts of Trauma on Relationships and Yourself
  • Trauma-Informed Parenting
  • Understanding Emotions
  • Understanding Children Who Have Experienced Trauma
  • Talking to Your Child about Domestic Violence and Healthy Relationships
  • The Importance of Self-Care
  • Safety Planning
