Differential Response

In partnership with Child and Family Services of Grand Erie (CFSGE), our Differential Response program provides wrap-around domestic violence intervention services for moms, dads, and caregivers involved in child protection services.

This program receives referrals only through Child and Family Services of Grand Erie.

SAFER (Self-Awareness & Finding Empowerment in Relationships) Group: Are you a woman* aged 16-24, and curious about what makes a relationship truly healthy? Join us at SAFER. This group helps young women gain a better understanding of themselves, learn about abuse and coercive control, and understand the building blocks of healthy relationships. Stronger Self Support Group: This 6 week group provides the opportunity for clients to explore tools and techniques to assist them in coping with the impacts of violence. Covering topics ranging from “Self-Compassion” to “Self-Regulation”, participants are given information and practical skills for self-improvement and empowerment. Each session combines information sharing, interactive activities, and discussion to support each individuals learning. Learn more at novavita.org/stronger-self.
