Closet Couture Boutique
Closet Couture Boutique is Nova Vita’s first social enterprise! By opening Closet Couture Boutique, Nova Vita has the opportunity to transform generous clothing donations into much needed funds to support the women and children who need our services through the sale of new and like-new women’s fashions.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, Nova Vita is able to ensure that all our clients receive the clothing they need when they arrive on our doorstep. Any excess of quality clothing that our community donates allows Closet Couture Boutique to thrive, and provides Nova Vita with financial support.
Shop great fashions, save on designer brands, and support Nova Vita at Closet Couture Boutique. You can shop Closet Couture Boutique in-store or online.
Wrapped In Courage
November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month. The purple scarf is a symbol of the courage it takes a woman to leave her abuser. However, the courage of the woman is not enough. It takes the support of an entire community to end violence against women.
Throughout the month of November, we ask Ontarian’s to wear a purple scarf to show support for survivors who’ve had to endure gender-based violence in their homes, communities and workplaces. You can purchase your purple scarf or tie, available exclusively at Closet Couture Boutique (415 Fairview Dr). Shop in-person or online anytime here.
In addition to the sale of purple scarves, the Wrapped in Courage campaign is mobilizing Violence Against Women (VAW) shelters across Ontario to remind everyone that now more than ever, violence continues to be the greatest inequality rights issue for women and girls. Wrapped In Courage flags will be raised on November 25th, the International Day For The Elimination of Violence Against Women, across the province to show survivors of intimate partner violence that they are not alone.
