A group for men who want to change how they respond to anger.
Understanding and Transforming Anger is a supportive group for men* who want to better understand their anger and take responsibility for how it affects their relationships. The group focuses on helping men recognize what fuels their anger, learn practical ways to manage strong emotions, and build skills for healthier communication and coping.
This group is for men who are choosing to make changes in their lives and are open to learning new ways of responding to stress, conflict, and strong feelings. It is not a replacement for accountability-based or court-mandated programs, but may be a helpful step toward personal growth and safer relationships.
Participants will learn how to:
- Recognize and name emotions before they escalate
- Understand what happens in the body and mind when anger builds
- Identify personal triggers and patterns related to anger
- Break the cycle that leads from frustration to harmful behaviour
- Express anger in safe, healthier ways
- Develop practical coping strategies for stress and conflict
- Communicate needs and feelings respectfully and effectively
Groups run continually all year long. For more information or to register, please contact:
