Garden of Hope

Located at our front entrance, our garden is the first impression our residents and visitors receive, welcoming them to Nova Vita, and creating a feeling of safety and warmth. When you support our Garden of Hope, you are making a difference for so many seeking safe shelter and support at Nova Vita.

How You Can Help

When you make a donation of $25 or more, Nova Vita will plant an annual flower in our Garden Of Hope, located at the front entrance of Nova Vita. Honouree names will appear on our garden sign to be recognized all year long.

Last year, your “Garden of Hope” donations supported:

  • 69 women and 72 children who found safe emergency shelter at Nova Vita.
  • The 238 women who were assisted by Transitional Support Workers to develop safety plans, find affordable housing, and transition out of an abusive relationship.
  • 12 women and 14 children who lived safely in one of Nova Vita’s second-stage transitional housing apartments.
  • 322 women who received individual and group counselling to heal from the violence and abuse they experienced.
