Please join us in launching the 7th Annual Brantford Basketeer Program. Last year our community collectively donated over 65 beautifully wrapped baskets. This year’s community goal for Brantford and the County of Brant is 75 baskets. This will take a lot of heart and dedication. However, we believe we can achieve this goal!
These baskets are given to abused women living at Nova Vita Domestic Violence Prevention Services, Ganohkwasra, and Ojistoh House, as many of them leave their homes with nothing. We are thankful for the generosity of our community. Below is the list of suggested items for each theme basket – only new items please. Each basket is generally worth $200 – $250, many companies and families work together on a basket to help with the cost.

Please note: This year, our drop off party will be held Saturday, December 5th at 59 North Park Street, Brantford. Please drop your baskets off between 9am and 11am. It is very important to bring your basket to the drop off party as the other shelters have arranged to have help transporting the baskets. If you are unable to attend the drop off party, please contact us to make other arrangements.
