Counselling for Women
Our counselling programs are for women* who have experienced violence or abuse in their relationship and are interested in taking a step in their own healing journey. For individuals who have experienced violence or abuse in their relationship and not living at Nova Vita, speaking with our Intake Coordinator is the first step. Our Intake Coordinator will set up an initial interview with you, explain our programs, answer any questions, help you to develop a safety plan if necessary, and connect you with the service or program that best meets your needs, and the needs of your children.
(For individuals who have been abusive towards their partner or are at risk of using abusive behaviour in their relationship, please see our Challenge to Change Program).
