Public Education
Public Education is a vital part of our work to build safer, healthier communities. By raising awareness about domestic violence, promoting healthy relationships, and equipping individuals with practical tools, we help reduce interpersonal violence and work together to create a community where everyone feels safe, supported, and empowered.
We offer a wide range of engaging presentations on topics including:
- Overview of Nova Vita’s Programs & Services
- How to Support Someone in an Abuse Relationship (The B.L.O.S.S.O.M. Model)
- Recognizing the Types & Signs of Abuse
- Healthy Relationship Skills
- Online Safety & Digital Boundaries
- Teen Dating Violence Prevention
We deliver presentations to community agencies, businesses, schools, clubs, religious institutions, and many other groups. Each session can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your audience, including age-appropriate content for youth, adults, seniors, and professional groups.
Additionally, we provide on-site counselling at both local school boards upon request, ensuring accessible support for students where they need it most.
All of our presentations are free and can be arranged to be in-person or virtually. To book or learn more about our presentation opportunities, contact:
