Show the special women in your life that you are thinking of them by making a donation in their name to support the Mothers of Nova Vita.
The pressures of COVID-19 continue to have a tremendous impact on all of Nova Vita’s services. Your donation ensures that we can continue to provide safe shelter and essential programs and support to those that need it most. Last year, your donations supported:
- 99 women and 121 children who sought safe shelter at Nova Vita.
- 3 moms whose babies called Nova Vita their first home.
- 12 women and 13 children who lived safely in one of Nova Vita’s second-stage transitional housing apartments.
- The 132 times our Children’s Program was able to provide educational childcare and much needed respite to moms and their children living in our emergency shelter.
Your support makes all the difference, and allows Nova Vita to continue to be a safe haven and pillar of hope for so many in the community.
There are two ways to show your support this Mother’s Day:
Plant Hope at Nova Vita: When you make a donation of $25 or more in the month of May, Nova Vita will plant an annual flower in honour of the special woman in your life to fill our Garden Of Hope located at the front entrance of Nova Vita. Donations made by Friday May 7th will receive an exclusive e-card to share in time for Mother’s Day.
Give A Gift Of Hope: When you make a donation of $75 or more, you’ll receive an exclusive necklace from artist Kim Clark, as well as recognize a special woman in your life by having Nova Vita plant an annual flower in our Garden Of Hope. Donations and orders must be received by Sunday May 2nd. Curbside pick-up will be available Thursday May 6th & Friday May 7th.
When you honour the special women in your life this Mother’s Day, you are providing safe shelter and support to women and children escaping a life of violence and homelessness. Thank you for making a difference for the Moms of Nova Vita.
